Business response:
The Santa Cannonball Express was advertised as a 40-45 minute ride to the "North Pole" to pickup Santa. There were no track problems construction going on. The trip WAS discounted because of the shortened trip. Our normal trip is 1.5 hours, round trip with a layover. Yes, we do backup from the Tavares station so we can get the train on the correct track to the North Pole. After picking up Santa we then backup to get onto the Eustis branch, one that most passengers have never experienced. Then it is forward back into the Tava... read more
I am extremely disapointed in the whole thing. My 5 and 7 yr old grandchildren were so excited about seeing the north pole and Santa only to sit on the train going forward and backward over about a quarter mile of track listening to the local bar music I would much rather they had cancelled than to have to ,pay for this pathetic experience. They won't see me again.
