These b******* sent me a letter saying I pre-qualified for a $1000,00 credit line. When I applied I was turned down and my credit was significantly reduced by 21 points. THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM! I had to give them one star in order to leave the review but they deserve NOTHING!

I have been dealing with this company for over two months now and have not received a check yet. This company has taken money out of my account without releasing any funds at all. I have been on many emails and phone calls like all the other complaints on this website. I believe this company is just a fraudulent company who is out here to scam people...

there ridiculous, just another company that sends you a pre approved **** dollar offer and you fill out the application thinking it was for pre approval then you get a notification that an inquiry has been added to your report. so I thought might as well follow through I get to the end give them access to 2 of my checking accounts to verify and they say they cant verify my income which is a joke. I would never refer a friend or family to Oportun,the agents don't listen to customer,they **** you payments that you're not aware of. I can't wait to finish paying off the loan,and never again.Oportun is simple a rip off loan company,don't borrow from them.

Lied about when I would have my check. TWO reps told me 1-3 business days and then the supervisor tells me 8 business days! I asked the rep to confirm that it would be 1-3 and she did and also the second rep. I told her it was an emergency and I needed the funds ASAP or I would choose someone else! She lied!!!! Now my uncle funeral is tomorrow and my family dont have all of the funds! Thanks a lot Oportun! Some kind of way to do business!
