Went to the ER with my husband who is prone to pancreatitis due to atypical cystic fibrosis. He was diagnosed through genetic testing. They had never heard of it. We sat there for hours with no help. He has sleep apnea and without his CPAP his oxygen would drop low enough that alarms sounded. Nobody ever came. I watched a nurse shop for her vacation then clothes online for 3 hours. Every so often she would yell at patients asking for help to shut up. I wouldn't send my cat to that ER for treatment.

Every single department in this hospital has the worst customer service. Even just checking in for an appt, the receptionist act as if it’s their job to be rude before you can even smile and say hi to them! My husband has cancer, so we are here all the time. Besides his doctors there’s only be 3 people who have been hospitable. It’s a shame! I know your located is the shittiest part of Boston, but that’s not the patients fault.
