Onyx realty "managed" my neighborhood in Grove City. I'm not sure what there was to be managed because besides the entrance of the neighborhood, it appeared that the HOA took care of nothing else. There are houses that are violating the neighborhood rules and nothing is done by the HOA to take care of this. I am now at the closing of selling my house in that neighborhood and was hit with a $250 fee of "transferring documents." Business response:
Every property that is part of a Condominium or Homeowners Association and is sold is required to verify that there are no liens or violations prior to the sale. This is a condition of the Columbus Board Of Realtors standard purchase agreement. Onyx only charges $250.00 for this service whereas other firms such as CondoCerts charge in excess of $300.00 and more to expedite.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars, but that is not possible. The property managers at Onyx Realty do not care about their residents, only about the money. The money that is collected is considered revenue even though a service is not provided. If a resident calls for any sort of reason, they are belittled. The block phone numbers from the emergency line and other sort of communication if they find you "annoying."
