Went there for Crawfish last Friday night. Crawfish were mushy. Most were probably dead when put into the boiling pot. Management just served them, then eagerly brought the ticket. I will not go back, even if they give them away.

Wow John, sorry to hear that you were disappointed. I can assure you that we wash and sort the crawfish before cooking them, and cull out any dead ones. They are very young crawfish this early in the year and the shells are soft. Sorry to disappoint.
My family went there for dinner. The wait staff JJ was great friendly and informative. The food was good we really liked the coleslaw, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp and grilled catfish. The appetizers were good we had stuffed jalapeños, fried pickles and fried mushrooms. Service was great �

On the River catered me and my husbands Wedding Rehearsal Dinner 26 years ago and it was delicious! They have catered other various parties we’ve had as well. Yesterday they catered my daughters wedding - outstanding food! Professional Staff and Drew is such a pleasure to work with! He pays attention to every detail and offers the best customer service with class. It’s come full circle for us - On the River is like family! Such a great experience. I highly recommend On the River Restaurant ❤️
