First time surgery ever, Dr Barzideh and his team were amazing. Kudos to Dr Barzideh and Winthrop Hospital for their professionalism and compassion.

In June of this year, 2020, after much research on my own, I went to Dr. Barzideh because I had pain in my right leg that moved between my hip and my knee. He informed me that I had arthritis in my right hip, that it was bone on bone, and that I needed a total hip replacement. I was looking for a hip surgeon on the internet (I did look at Health Grades) a couple of months ago and found Dr. Barzideh. He met my requirements - relatively young, a great deal of experience and he was a proponent of the anterior approach to total hip replacement. I was further impressed when I noted in his bio that, as a kid, he like taking things apart and putting them back together! Fantastic experience! Dr. Barzideh put my mother at ease every step of the way(no pun intended!)before, during, and after her knee replacement surgery. He is a fabulous dr.and really nice man! Would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Barzideh explained the procedure to me. Patiently described how surgery would benefit, the healing process according to my bone health. Precautions necessary to maintain good progress. Impressed by him and his staff. Would definitely recommend to others.

Dr. Barzideh is 2 for 2 in my book. first my torn Biceps Tendon and now my Left Hip. His staff is Excellent which is the sign of a true leader. Dr. B is GREAT! He always takes the time to explain and always listens to your concerns. I would recommend him to anyone ever thinking of a hip replacement.
Dr Barzideh is a wonderful doctor. Explained to me my problem and how he was going to approach it. He answered all my questions and worked with me on both exercise and medication protocol prior and after surgery
