All aspects of the visit were perfect. I was very fortunate to not have any issues. Dr. Barzideh and PA Kim Sommer provide excellence in orthopedic care. The joint replacement program is seamless in providing complete care. There aren’t any questions to ask because they cover everything. From the nurse coordinators pre op , to the post op appointment, the program is perfect.
The surgeon and surgical OR staff were exceptional. I would recommend Dr.Barzideh and staff .
From the moment I met Dr. Barzideh and the entire staff at NYU Langone I knew my knee was in good hands. The entire process was extremely organized. All pre op procedures were explained in detail. I had a nurse assigned to my case. The actual procedure was explained in such detail by Dr. Barzideh at our first meeting that my wife and I had no questions. I had hip replacement surgery and was expecting a tremendous amount of pain, but all I needed was acetaminophen. I walked the day I had surgery. I believe the exercises that I did before the surgery helped greatly. I would recommend Dr Barzideh!!!
What I appreciated most was Dr. Barzideh's willingness to fully discuss (and answer all questions) re: my hip replacement. Dr. Barzideh and his staff had all aspects of my treatment planned and then executed to a great outcome. NYU Langone facilitated my treatment with the combination of interactive mobile phone applications to communicate as well as track every aspect of my surgery.
I had my right hip replaced in June of '19 and my left in December of '19. I should've posted a review years ago, but better late than never. Dr. Barzideh is quiet at first, but a really nice guy. That aside, he knows his stuff!! I was a scared, in pain, distrusting of doctors kind of patient and he dealt with it professionally as we proceeded with the two surgeries. Dr. Barzideh and his staff are caring, highly qualified, professional and efficient. They listen to your concerns and are there to find solutions to your problems. He came highly recommended by my doctor, a former patient's family and my review of his qualifications. Dr. Barzideh is a very skilled surgeon, who produced excellent an result, in my case.
I have been coming to the office for 2 yrs (left hip replaced 2021 & right hip replaced late 2022) My experience has been superb!! I have had interactions with the entire staff & everyone (when I say everyone I mean everyone, Renata ) was extraordinary!! I have absolutely no complaints! Dr. Barzideh and his team are excellent. From the pre operation instructions including webex, zoom and in office appointments to the operation and post operation follow up - no stone was left unturned. Dr. Barzideh is terrific - great surgeon with a very calming bedside manner. I experienced no pain after my hip surgery and I am well on my way to a full recovery and enjoying my life again without pain. Thank you.
