Phenomenal service for our dinner meeting. The server was beyond knowledgeable and understood the menu well. I trusted his recommendations and found myself pleasantly pleased with the wine and food selection. Parking is a challenge, but the service inside is worth it. Hope to have the same server next time and look forward to savoring every morsel! Phenomenal!

Lump Crab cakes were off the hook & Skip .. The waiter was excellent with taking our order & serving us
Love both the lunch and dinner menus, everything I have ever tried is wonderful. They really know how to bring out the best mix of flavors in every entree, appetizer and salad. The decor is charming and the staff is welcoming. The grilled cheese is exceptional as is the scallops entree. Yum!

I've been planning to visit Omar's Carriage House for ages now, but I don't get over to Norfolk very often from Newport News. Made a special trip over the water to hit up some of my wishlist locales for my birthday―SO glad we made it to Omar's! Food was fantastic, service was prompt and professional. We were there for our 25th anniversary. We had service challenges. The person training the new person was new. They didn't know the menu. They didn't tell us there was no lamb until my husband ordered it. They shared that the kitchen was "in transition". The entire meal we could hear their conversations. The food was good, but not great. We were looking for a special evening and didn't get one.
