We love dining at Omar’s as the atmosphere is very comfortable and staff is great. Love everything they prepare and presentation is always amazing. Omar’s is a nice gem in downtown/Freemason area of Norfolk.
Finishing up our thanksgiving dinner and I couldn’t be more glad to have found Omar’s! My family has had a rough year and the holidays haven’t felt anything like they should. We realized last minute - on Sunday night - that we hadn’t even thought about what to do for Thanksgiving and with cooking completely out of the question, finding a place that was still taking to go preorders was tough. Its unfortunate that it seems that in house communication is not fluent. Because of COVID restrictions and precautions we were trying to get some food for just two of us and got told they cut off preorders earlier in the week when there was nothing mentioned in the posts that gave us the idea in the first place. We asked if we could do take out today and they said yes but were not specific about what we could and couldn't order until we called today to try and order.
