Looked at two different apartment types on 10/8. Called all day trying to get some questions answered. Spoke to Gina who gave me the apartment number for the one I wanted (an Alpine which was a little bigger than the other.) She told me it should be ready for move in October 12th. I had mentioned I needed to move in ASAP. I go to apply online and the listing for the apartment number she gave me says move in date is Dec 14. Nice little cheap apartments! The only thing i don’t like is the washer and dryers, I have had people move my clothes just so they could use the washer, or dryer. But other than that these apartments are nice! The separate the pets, and non pets! They have a nice pool for the summer!
I have lived at Old Monterey for 1 year and have had a good experience living here! Staff are attentive and quick to respond when needed. We have had some with pests and took it upon ourselves to fix. Overall great grounds, pool and apartments are decent. Highly recommended if looking for an affordable living option.
Don’t live here unless you want your car broken into. First my window was busted out in December, and now my partner has had electrical equipment (which belong to his work) stolen. We were both parked LITERALLY right in front of the stairs leading to our building. There are no cameras in the parking lots. Currently waiting until the office opens to report the theft. Went to view an apartment and there was a cockroach in the floor of the bathroom. Clearly don’t care about their cleanliness of showing apartments, and very unkind staff.

It was like living with a homeowners association told you what you could have and do . Maintenance department was lazy and did the bare minimum. I had some paint peeling and all they did was scrap some of it off and paint over and left a mess when they were done
