We have eaten here since they opened, and we used to really like it, however the last times, since December,I have ordered burgers and they were horrible. They tasted like frozen patties that may have been freezer burnt, not sure. Previously the burgers were very good. A friend also had a burger and it was the same, no flavor, odd taste.

Great food - great service! This was Iowa State's graduation and we got in,got seated in no time at all and had great food, and great service and we had a great time! I will go again anytime I'm in Ames.

Very tasty pizza. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Prices were a little high but all in all it was a very pleasant experience.
My husband and I just left old Chicago in Ames. We had the nicest server her name was Lauren. Our food was fantastic. California chicken sandwich and spaghetti pie with Alfredo sauce or both to die for ! Great beer selection and a huge menu selection for everyone! Very very good!

Went to Old Chicago in Ames tonight. First time I have ever been unhappy with the service/facility. First of all the floors were filthy, there was garbage all over the floors, full napkins on the floor, food particles all over. We ordered our food which included salads. We waited forever for our food. When it finally came to us it was our entrees and Jeff got nothing. They forgot to cook his the waitress said. I asked her about our salads and she said oh yeah, let me get those. My entree was supposed to come with bread which... read more
