I have been bringing my children here since birth, both generations
Fantastic staff, kind friendly, and have always made us feel welcomed in the 4 years my wife has been doing her MS treatments. We're moving to Cleveland soon, and I only hope we can find a crew that is half as friendly and welcoming as the folks up the 7th floor!
Five stars hands down great experience. Son hemorrhaged Christmas morning and we were there for two weeks. Doctors, nurses, OT, PT and many more surrounded us with love and care in this difficult time. Everything possible was done to meet our sons needs and our families. This is not a complaint. If possible, try to drop food prices in cafeteria. It will help families in uncertain financial times to purchase food with greater ease of mind.
We would like to give a giant shout out to our amazing surgical team at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital Dr. Hendrickson, Dr. Lee, and Dr. DeSouza, the nurses particularly Jason in ER, Dennis and Shawn in recovery, and Juanita, Ticey and Stephanie on 9 south as well as all the techs, aids and others that it took to make one very sick boy with appendicitis well. Its a best hospital ever and i get a lot of help there
We took a leap of faith! We came from San Antonio, Texas to see if Doernbecher's could help our baby. San Antonio told us to take her home to die at 3 weeks old, there was nothing to be done. But we had faith that Kiari had a purpose in life, she had lived to 9 months, she is a fighter. We came and every procedure that was done was a risky one, "she may die", they said.
