Aubrey recently was checked out for failure to thrive. Most of the staff were kind , compassionate and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I'm bad with names but two of the people who stood out were nurse Brett and student nurse Sara. Those two are amazing.
My daughter has been going to children's hospitals since She was 15months (now almost 13) with her heart Condition, at the other hospital we were at they left me unanswered and feeling stupid.... so when I moved back to Oregon and she was placed in the care of a Dr at doernbecher walking in was amazing everyone with a smile and very helpful finding where I had to be and what floor... and the Dr always answered all my questions and made me understand what's going on... now I fully understand her Condition and what we need to ... read more
I cannot say enough good about this hospital!! My youngest has been through a lot in his three years and the doctors and staff here have always been superb!! During our five day stay last year, we were made to feel like family, our guests were welcomed and we were never lacking in anything we needed. The medical care was amazing!
Caring and Friendly staff. We were in and out on our scheduled time. Always a GREAT experience with very knowledgeable doctors and staff!

I've been going to OHSU since 2002. My only 2 complaints are that when your child See's more then one specialist at a time they need to talk with other departments about scheduling the appointments so you don't feel like you'll be late or rush to get from one to the next. My other complaint is about some of the doctor's. Sometimes I feel more like a number then a patient. I feel like they rush you in and out and don't take the time to actually listen to your concerns.
