RecommendedHad to come in tonight to the ER because my son pulled his feeding tube out. Dr. David Jones (and our nurse, Jillian) knowing he was missing out on food and crucial medicine, got his tube back in and us on our way, in just over an hour. You guys absolutely made a stressful night so much better. Thank you!

Our daughter had 2 surgeries this week for her seizures. I can't say enough how amazing everyone has been this week! RecommendedOur son was there for surgery for sagittal craniosynostosis and his entire team from the surgeons to every nurse in PICU and 10 north were excellent. He is at home now and happy thank you all so much. I dont trust any other hospital with my children. You guys are great
If you are planning to take your child here for cardiac care and/or surgery I urge you to get a second opinion elsewhere. I cannot speak to the competency of the other pediatric specialities offered at Doernbecher, but the cardiac “care” and surgery our daughter received at OHSU were catastrophic for our entire family. What made it worse was the total lack of accountability for the whole fiasco. RecommendedThey have the very best Uveitis clinic around and take good care of they’re patients! I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the best doctors who have not only trained here but also have taught here! Weliber, Edwards, Francis, Suhler and Yang! I am still hoping for a miracle and diagnosis but have had 2 good years of remission from my vision loss! No vision in one eye but holding on tight to what I have left in the other😉I am in good hands!

RecommendedMy family had a significant medical emergency when my grandson's blood-sugar was changing so WILDLY and "off-the-charts", as I am quoting a Dr. from our T.R.M.C.- hosp. here in Tillamook, OR and was not able to stabilize until he and his parents were treated + taught how best to care for Blaize's diabetes-Type-1 so they could return home without worrying anymore!/Blaize is their 1st child so you could just imagine the fear & uncertainty his folks faced!!:O I recommend Doernbechers' hosp to all my friends when their kids deve... read more
RecommendedI can not say enough good things about this hospital. I took my newborn to Salem hospital ER because I knew something was wrong. The doctors ran testing and kept telling me she had certain levels that were high but it was probably just viral and a lab error so we were fine to go home. I insisted they called our pediatrician who told them to call Doernbecher. Doernbechers team had Salem transport us.
