Okay for the price we paid. Free parking really drew us in. Which was first come, first serve. Rooms are small, but we didn’t spend much time in them anyways. Not fancy if that’s what you’re looking for. Sheets were dirty when we got there, had to get new ones from the front desk and change ourselves. I really want to give a fake bad rating because I don’t want everyone to know about this hidden gem! Had a great stay! Rooms were very clean and comfy. The furniture is a bit old and outdated but it looks as if they’ve been updating and renovating! Safe neighborhood... great restaurants all around... last but not least, great pricing! 💙. I will be back!

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of downtown Chicago!
My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day at Ohio House Motel and were impressed with the service and location. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and they were stocked with bathroom essentials, fridges, and microwaves. The location and free parking were the selling points. The motel is within walking distance of many area attractions and restaurants. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely visit again.
We've been to Ohio House twice. Both times have been very nice. We absolutely love the location and the free parking. Only negative things we could think of is not having climate control in the rooms and the water pressure in the shower. But those things won't ever keep us from coming back.
