The doctors and nurses are all very friendly and helpful. I believe they truly care about not only the patient but their family as well.
This is a wonderful hospital! Everyone in all areas of the hospital are fantastic!!! I had surgery yesterday and I am going home today! 5 Stars!!!

Ochsner today is not the Health Care Facility it was 15 years ago. My appointment b Was scheduled for 9:30, I arrived at 8:40and was seen in Nuclear Medicine. I was instructed report to the Admission office to check into the facility. While setting in the Admit in walks a patient husband with a DOG. I told the admit representative that I would wait in the hall because I could not remain in the office with the dog. Lack of communication. Short on staff, never on time or within reasonable timing. Shuffle rooms alot. if your numbers are stable for a day, not including the night before, they will have you discharged. We drive 3.5 hrs to be neglected. Liver transplant almost 3 yrs ago & level of care is getting worst! Bc I'm a "less stable" patient, they wanted to discharge me bc my vitals HAD been stable. & last I was transferred to a new room around midnight bc someone else needed my room. So I have not been stable in anyway. BULLSHIT.
Been here many times at this hospital for my Dad andl now is my Mom..the best hospital, best Dr, best staff compare to other in New Orleans, They known for best organ transplants in the nation..

Love, love, love. They are treating for a benign brain tumor plus other edocrine diseases. I receive phone calls from the doctors themselves and find it easy to communicate with them on My Ochsner. I see a Neurosurgeon, Endocrinologist, Gynocologist, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurologist (sleep clinic), ENT, and Opthamologist here. They get me in quick and treat me like a princess.
