Oschner falsely advertises that it accepts medicaid, but refuses to make appointments for patients w medicaid. They might have great doctors and fancies, but I guess they're only available to rich people.

RecommendedI’m just a little disappointed. Upon Monday, May 3,2021 . I had a appointment with the eye doctor. My visit was great, but after the visit I was given a appointment to come back July 9,2021 at 9:45. I left the hospital to go home . Upon reaching home I realized that I was given Mrs. Gilda D Jones appointment papers instead of my own . This is the second time . Very unprofessional, doctor was yelling. Would not recommend going here AT ALL!!!

RecommendedI’ve had very positive experiences at Ochsner. I’ve had three heart procedures there. Most of the staff are very caring and nice. I plan to continue using Ochsner, as needed, and would recommend them to anyone that is in need of heart care.

RecommendedThey are all courteous and majority are helpful. Most of my visits have been pleasant . Those professionals and clerical personnel are willing to explain things I don’t understand. I am not technically wise and trying to communicate on IPhones and such is difficult for me. I am 75 yrs old and don’t understand computer language. But many staff try to work with me on this. I am very satisfied with most people at Ochsner. We all have bad days, but most of the time everyone works well together.

RecommendedI came to the ER for abdominal pain and I literally walked in went straight into triage, waited about 15 mins and went to the back into a room. Dr.Sal Suau came in and is pretty amazing! He has a beautiful personality and all of his nurses were so sweet as well! He immediately got busy on what needs to be done to treat me. I skipped the Chalmette Ochsner to come here and I’m glad I did 💯

RecommendedThis entire healthcare system is superior in every aspect, from ease of securing appointments to checkin and payment, facility personnel and layout, operational efficiency from start to finish and nurse/ doctor professionalism! I have never had an appointment experience exceed over an hour from start to finish no matter what location or department! The positive consistency of the Ochsner system and friendly staff is the very reason I am proactive in my overall preventative healthcare!
