I took my dog Gumby to you last week, he was in Diabetic Ketoacidosis and you saved his life. The quality of care that he received was amazing. I can't express how grateful I am to everyone on staff -- from the people who answered my all of my calls to the great Doctors who cared for him, to the excellent help and follow-up care he has received. Thank you for the wonderful things that you do and I will recommend you all to anyone I know!
I was very saddened after just reading a story. Few days ago a very caring woman saw an innocent cat thrown from a moving car. Being the weekend her own vet was not open. She could tell the cat was in pain but didn't have the funds to bring her anywhere. She appealed for help with donations on FB and finally got enough to bring her to Ocean State. Thank God for this wonderful hospital! My 8year old Golden Retriever Biscuit was diagnosed with cancer in his right rear paw. The hospital helped him out with medicine for a few months then today, they amputated his leg. Biscuit is doing fine. Thank you surgeon and staff of OSVH for giving my beautiful dig another chance at life.
The communication sucks. They held my cat decaying in a box for a week and never told me my moms check was declined. My friend could have saved him for a lot less than these greedy jerks could have. They don't care about your pets, they just want your money. DON'T GO HERE!

Referred to Ocean State from a clinic in our hometown. We were met by a triage person that helped get our puppy from the car to the clinic. Met with Les Shatkin who was compassionate and empathetic to the trauma we had experienced with our baby. I know she is in good hands while she is away from us. Glad to know where to turn in case of an emergancy.
Our lab Tessa was here for a week with pancreatitis and related complications. The doctors and staff did an amazing job helping her recover. They were informative and caring and our dog really loved the staff- we knew she was in good hands. So worth the 40 minute drive for us, best clinic we've brought her to :)
