Just got back from a week with my husband at Loews Santa Monica and I can say, without a doubt, this is my all-time favorite hotel. I travel a lot and am pretty picky, so this is saying a lot. Amazing room, beautiful pool, view of the ocean, quick and delicious room service, and exceptionally nice staff members. Sure, room service and the minibar are a bit pricey, but that's going to be true at all nice hotels. My only critique is that the beds are a bit stiff for my liking.
