Top Notch Care & Friendly Staff! We live in Beverly Hills, but we've been bringing our two cats out to Oakland Animal Hospital ( a 40 minute drive each way) for about 10 years now. We followed our Vet, Dr. Patti Pillsbury out there because we really like her! She's very friendly & is a great Vet! She's taken care of previous cats we've had too! Best Vet Dr. McInnis has been my dog's vet for a few years now. She has a special interest in dentistry and did a fabulous job with the pup's oral surgery and spay. Appointments are not rushed and your questions will be answered. She is always open to talking about any concerns that I have. Everything is explained so that there is a clear understanding of what is wrong and what our options are to fix it. THE BEST CARE EVER!!! I'm a long-time, frequent visiting client, and I can't say enough good about this practice. The office is very clean and professional. The staff and every single one of the doctors are outstanding. The front office staff is always friendly and and their vet techs are very well educated and helpful. Fabulous care and incredibly knowledgeable vets! I took my elderly kitty, Rupert, there for a dental cleaning. The following year, when we returned, I mentioned that he'd been a bit lethargic after the dental. The vet immediately recommended a workup and that we defer the dental cleaning until the results were back. They found early stage Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy [HCM] and I am thrilled to report that after 5 years, Rupert is still going strong - 20 years old! Knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Our five year old dog Roxy tore her ACL, and we were referred to Dr. Duncan for surgery. I felt at ease at the first appointment and scheduled her surgery. Today we had our final PT visit with Amy, and after twelve weeks we were given the all clear to resume normal activity. I would highly recommend Oakland Animal Hospital, and their amazing staff.
