Our five year old dog Roxy tore her ACL, and we were referred to Dr. Duncan for surgery. I felt at ease at the first appointment and scheduled her surgery. Today we had our final PT visit with Amy, and after twelve weeks we were given the all clear to resume normal activity. I would highly recommend Oakland Animal Hospital, and their amazing staff.
I’ve been going here since 1998 and have always had the best experience with Oakland Animal. The doctors and staff are so caring and take the best care of your pets. ❤️❤️❤️

I have already left a 5 star review for OAH and, specifically, dr Duncan. Denver ended up needing another surgery and this time dr mcinnis helped him (it was a growth in his mouth) and she was fantastic. The staff was awesome as well and they all took great care of him. I continue to recommend OAH to anyone.
This place has changed!! I will never return to Oakland Animal. Really disappointing since we brought our first Dog here for twelve years. Every time I bring my new puppy in it is a complete disappointment. The staff acts like they are miserable and don’t like animals. Called today because my dogs bottom is so red. I couldn’t make an appointment at 8:40 in the morning because I have to be at the hospital in the morning. The girl gets snotty on the phone and says.. you will have to bring him in next week then. really... like ... read more
