Everyone always says that oak hill is better than spring hill regional....i beg to differ. My 90 year old mother has been taken by ambulance at LEAST eight times in past ten days. One time She was there for five days. In all this time they couldn't find anything wrong but she couldn't breathe!! Today we called ambulance AGAIN and FINALLY they found out she has the flu! How they could not have diagnosed this already in ALL those visits is beyond me. I will NEVER send her to this hospital EVER again!!

Absolute worst experience I have ever had in an ER the facility is filthy and the staff is rude...waiting nearly 3 hours in agony for a cat scan and decided to leave and try another hospital tomorrow

Had an outpatient surgery done a year and a half ago and the nurses were amazing and i got knocked out and didnt feel a thing. The nurse even walked me to the bathroom and stayed in there with me to make sure i didnt fall. A bit embarrassing but i know she only did it because she cares. Great job Oak Hill!

I'm a retired nurse of 35 years. We're spending our first winter in Brooksville as snow birds. My biggest concern being in a different state was finding good medical care. My fears came to life after developing a severe infection. Starting with the ER ending with my discharge, the care I received was EXCELLENT!!!!!! The physcians and nurses at Oak Hill Hospital were exceptional!!!! We'll definitely refer our friends to Oak Hill if medical treatment is needed! Thank you for the awesome care!!!!

Choose somewhere else for treatment. They care most about money. The state attorney general should investigate. All they care about is who is your car ins with. Free $10 grand to them in Florida. Absolutely sorry and a disgrace to medical profession.

My brother is a physician at Johns Hopkins and his wife is a nurse practitioner. Unfortunately our father was rushed to Oak Hill Hospital. My brother and his wife were thoroughly disgusted with poor care and poor attitudes of the doctors and hospitalists. We brought my father to Shands at the University of Florida where he received the care that he needed. They saved his life. Had he stayed at Oak Hill he would have died.

I was admitted from the ER, and went to the CDU unit for cardio observations. I absolutely LOVE every last staff member I encountered! From the sweet encouragement of the nurses, to pleasant conversations with my transport crew, I felt cared for and cared about! Thank you everyone!

This place is a joke...I brought my mom in to this hospital with severe abdominal pain...we had been waiting an hour and I finally asked why she hadn't been called back when so many others were taken back...only to find out they thought she was already taken to a room ...even after that we sat in the emergency room for 5 hours and still had not been put in a room ...when I asked the man at the desk he kept saying I can't help you and left us to continue to wait ...
