To bad there is no negative rating. Totally horrid experience at this ER. Went in with injured left knee, came out with 2 injured knees (injury caused by negligence and faulty equipment)! Sorry but this hospital used to be great, now it is a cesspool of incompetence.
RecommendedI have 2 surgeries there. Spinal Stenosis and Aortic Valve replacement & Pacemake. A perfect experience. This is a great hospital. No infections. Great staff.
I was just released after surgery. Spend forty hours being taken care like a celebrity by nurses, technician and surgeons. Around the clock care by itself is not the only impressive item, friendliness, care and attention to detail. Always with a smile that was the best for me. I don't remember their names but recon I about thirty people took care me hour after hour. So I want to thank all of them from the bottom heart and please keep it up. I just got a notification to like Oak Hill hospital page... for a hospital not to have a surgeon for more than 4 1/2 hours while my dad laid there in his deathbed... 11 depositions from nurses... & a complete change to their policy but when they do their own investigation and claim they were never in the wrong in the first place left a pretty bad taste in my mouth so no I will not be liking your page... it’s a shame because you have some wonderful nurses, Dr. Matthews on the other hand is a piece of shit! The emergency department is terrible here. ICU and IMC departments are great but with an emergency department full of staff that are rude and unhelpful, the experiences we have had lately in this hospital are prompting formal complaints to Wellcare and HCA.
You should re-check you hiring standards. At least one of your nurses seem to have a pretty horrific view toward women.

The ER was not the greatest experience, but for what they were lacking we had an excellent caring nurse named Shine on the third floor. He took care of my father and was on top of everything. Dr. Visnaw thank you for taking great care of my father as well!! I wrote the CEO hopefully you all got some recognition they are lucky to have you.
