This place is horrible....and everyone is grouchy! Unorganized! Love your job or keep it moving.

I actually preferred Oak Hill to other hospitals in the area, but last night, around 9:00 or so, whoever that man was working at the desk in the ED, he should be spoken to. He is very rude, no patience, and no filter. He was inconsiderate of our privacy and we left without treatment once the waiting room guests started laughing at us.

Soooo here’s a thought. Everyone complains about having to pay for the non-insured who go there. Well maybe the hospital can call in refills for antibiotics, yeast infection meds, antacids or whatever they’ve prescribed within the past week that the patient needs a refill for. Telling a patient to come in so they can give them one of those is ludicrous. Until they make changes that will save them and others money, I don’t want to hear them complain about people using it as a primary doctors office. Smh

When I had surgery back in March, the care was awful. Put me in a room and forgot about me, I felt like I had some kind of weird germ or something strange. I had to call and ask for water, food etc. pain meds we’re almost never unless I asked. If I ever have to go again for anything I will be more demanding. Oh and the Er was a MESS. Oh and why are they one of the most expensive hospitals for the area.
HUGE rave to this hospital for not only getting me in and out quickly , but to the entire staff who was so friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in, to the checking out . Major shout out to Brian for single handedly putting my dislocated shoulder back into place. :)
