This place is a must see if you are ever in the area. From the road you feel like you just step back in time. The tour was great everyone was so nice, hit the gift shop the bread pudding is to die for! This is a very educational tour for anyone, the history of the main house and giving us a glimpse into the lives of the slaves that built the main house and ran the sugar cane plantation. Thank you Oak Alley Foundation for preserving this part of history for years to come. This was my first visit and will not be my last!
Nice place to visit to get a feel for Plantation Life in the mid to late 1800's.
Amazing! The grounds were beautiful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Loved that they dressed in period costumes. We ate at the restaurant - shrimp/okra gumbo for appetizer and shrimp poboy for my meal - delicious! This was definitely worth the two hour drive to see this piece of history. Thank you Oak Alley Plantation for a wonderful experience!
First time visitor. The Plantation is amazing! Our tour guide, Lacy was terrific! I will definitely be back.
The tour and grounds were awesome and the food was just as good!
The grounds & your were great! The food at restaurant was bad!!
Amazing! We spent the night at Oak Alley in Cabin 9. Upon check in we were greeted with iced cold lemonade. The "cabin" was a beautifully decorated small house with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. We had dinner delivered and it was delicious! The pecan pie and bread pudding were perfection. Breakfast is also included at the cafe. Everything was wonderful and the house and grounds are must sees. 5 stars!!!!!

Wish they hired part time per diem help cause my daughter ans I would Def love to just be there!! It's so peaceful and beautiful.
Had a wonderful time spending the day learning about the history of this beautiful home. The people are very friendly and the guides can answer any questions you have with ease.
