Our tour guide was Gayle. She was so passionate about the story that when she said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Oak Alley," and opened the doors on the second level, we had tears in our eyes! An amazing place, an amazing history, and an even more amazing tour guide!"
Staying at Oak Alley was amazing! The grounds absolutely stunning, just can't get enough pictures of the trees, and the cottages super clean and well kept , definitely recommend! The food was amazing also loved the cottage delivery service.
Played down on slavery, horrifying US history, but great upkeep on landscaping and plantation.I love the huge trees which adds mystic and allure.
I LOVE OLD PLANTATIONS The Ones In The SOUTH Are Very BEAUTIFUL All The History That Comes With Them And Not To Mention The Reports Of HAUNTINGS. Very Awsome Indeed.
The 300 yr old trees are unbelievable! Pictures cannot do them justice. The house has a sad history. It has endured the unthinkable. Take the tour and they have great mint juleps!
Beautiful place! I am so glad this was part of our 2016 vacation!
Absolutely loved our time there first week of April with my wife and her parents. We will be back soon.
It was really great history.. It's beautiful there. Love the trees.. This is our 2 time visiting the plantation home..
I found this place to be very informative and beautiful. It was a unique glimpse at plantation life in Louisiana. The staff were very nice and very knowledgeable with any questions I had. Would definitely be back! Beautiful beautiful beautiful!
