Our tour guide was Gayle. She was so passionate about the story that when she said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Oak Alley," and opened the doors on the second level, we had tears in our eyes! An amazing place, an amazing history, and an even more amazing tour guide!"

Played down on slavery, horrifying US history, but great upkeep on landscaping and plantation.I love the huge trees which adds mystic and allure.

The 300 yr old trees are unbelievable! Pictures cannot do them justice. The house has a sad history. It has endured the unthinkable. Take the tour and they have great mint juleps!
