I wish I heard more information about the slaves and master interactions. What was a day like for a house slave? Excellent lunch, great guide and beautiful setting. This is a stark contrast to the poverty in the rural communities that line the river road.

The tour was excellent and informative. Truly felt transported back to an earlier time. Look forward to returning one day.

It is magnificent! 1200 acres of land still intact and subdivided among the remaining members of the clans who ones owned it, the state of Louisiana who run portions of the property for tourism. It is a must see!

Absolutely beautiful and amazing experience. We went through Louisiana tour company (tour guide Brian) and they did a great job! Brian was hilarious and did a great job sharing information and getting us there in time. The Plantation itself was gorgeous and the information provided about the house itself was great. Highly recommend visiting!!

Oak Alley Plantation is breathtaking! We attended my niece's wedding there. The wedding took place in front of the plantation home under the beautiful oak trees. After the ceremony, everyone who attended got to tour this amazing home.
