Such as iconic place. But they no longer allow photography inside the big house, which is a shame. Go to Houma’s House up the road instead, they allow it. Not sure I’ll be back to Oak Alley until they change that policy. On top of that, the tour has been shortened, with less information than what used to be given. They bring in so many people on the house tour at one time that you can barley move around. It’s like being herded in and out as fast as possible like cattle.

We had such a fantastic time there with our little family. We slept there and discovered the plantation - it was an amazing adventure for us.

Was beautiful. Interesting history. Tour guide of the house was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was very good.
