Best food We ate on our trip to Louisiana. Love that you can get a cold bar drink and take it with you to walk around the beautiful grounds and plantation home. Perfect for warm day.

We toured several places in Louisiana for our 31 anniversary-vacation trip this year and we really enjoyed Oak Alley Plantation. The Mint julep was so refreshing as we strolled the beautiful grounds.

My second time to visit Oak Alley and my breath is still taken away by the Live Oaks. The tour was changed but I appreciated the respect given to all the history of the house. The new exhibit was interesting seeing items that actually are tied to the house and not just displayed antiques for staging. I highly recommend this to any history buffs or nature lovers.

The plantation is beautiful, the tour was informative, and the restaurant food was delicious. Our whole group agreed it was the best food we had over our entire trip to New Orleans.
