A family member went to get checked because she was feeling under the weather. The doctor who checked her, flat out told her, "You might have the Coronavirus but we're not going to check you." The reason she gave was people with worse symptoms need to be tested first. This behavior is unprofessional. It does nothing but create fear. On top of that, the doctor was also condescending, and crass with her choice of words. I wish I had the doctors name. NYU Langone Health, does HR think this is acceptable behavior.
