Wonderful. Well done. – Excellent food, excellent service. They'll bring more homemade tortilla appetizers if you just ask (like little corn twinkies, so light and flavorful). Only downfall is they're a little pricey and a little crowded, but still a bargain compared to most of the trendy spots. Pork dishes are especially tastey.
Not your everyday Mexican food – It's refreshing to eat at a mexican restaurant where you don't feel like you are one step closer to a heart attack when you're done. It's very flavorful but.......... – Went to nuestra cocina Sat night. It was crowed which was expected for a Sat night so we ordered a drink which was VERY good. When we got to our table we decided just to order a few appitizers since it was our first time and wanted to try a few different things. Great Food, Good Vibe and Excellent Service! – In a city strongly lacking in decent Mexican fare, Nuestra shines with their innovative take on this historic and flavorful cuisine. Mama's Food, No, Good Food, YES – Although an aficionado of country/home Mexican cooking, don't expect typical Mexican food. This was great food. There were plenty of options for a vegetarian too. Not Your Regular Mexican Restaurant – We saw the 9.7 on Citysearch and tried it on an impulse, we got there on a weeknight at around 5:30PM so we were seated inside, and immediately, which appears to not be the norm. We've been to the rest, this is the best! – Some of the prior reviewers are crazy. We've been eating at Nuestra Cocina since they opened, and we've only had two meals that missed the mark. Twice out of hundreds of meals, if you count all the bites from friends plates! The gorditas and enchiladas are simple and delicious, though not the stand-out entrees. best mexican in town – I have been to nuestro many times from the opening and most recently a couple of months ago. The food is simply presented with spectacular flavors that pop in your mouth. The prices are beyond reasonable and yes the service is sometimes slow, and yes the wait is sometimes ridiculously long, but come on its a forty seat restaurant! What do you expect?
