Had my oil changed today and things went a little wrong but they didn't charge me for the work. I didn't expect that but that's good customer service. Thank you NTB!
In years of happily using this franchise, it keeps going downhill. This week's visit at this store was a mess. I am glad my car can talk to me to tell me what they did or didn't do right. Then, they left my key on the counter, unattended for several minutes. Even after I told the dude I considered leaving without paying him, he left it all on the counter and went to the back again! Another customer looked at me and said, "Amazing."
Dishonest crooks! Charged for oil and filter change in which they never changed the filter (another shop found the old filter) and ended up causing my oil to be shot out the top of the filter area. They never replaced the filter seal properly and the vehicle spewed oil all over my engine. The results were discovered after getting home with oil all over my drive way. Took to a reputable shop who fixed the problem.
Dishonest- get a second opinion. Went in to get a tire patch and was told that I should replace my brakes. I stated I found this surprising since I had just had a comprehensive 150K mile inspection at Christian Brothers, the employee became frustrated and stated "well your brakes are gone". Took the car back to Christian Brothers where they inspected, showed me images of my brake pads and explained I had a long while until I needed to replace. You should avoid this company and go to a honest shop.
