My wife had cataract surgery at Novamed Surgety Center recently. The medical service was quite good. The staff was professional and helpful. However, the pre-surgery communication regarding co-pays and deductibles was inexcusably bad. We anticipated the co-pay and deductibles but no one contacted us to provide estimates. We ended up paying over $900 on the spot unexpectedly the day of the procedure.
