Norwell Athletic Club is more than just a gym, we are a complete fitness center with over 27,000 sq. ft. of everything fitness. We have over 75 classes a week in all our specialized studios: GroupX, Yoga/Barre, Spin and we are also the home of Pure Pilates a complete classical pilates facility. We also offer personal and medical training in groups or one on one. At NAC we appeal to all types of fitness enthusiasts from the retired to the young members of our youth yoga program. This event is such a great idea and all should take part to experience this gym and it's employees. This facility is the best Strength and Facility on the South Shore. They offer great endurance classes and provide more than adequate free weights and Cybex/Hammer Strength Training Machines for any athlete.They do have the isolated members who need help lifting their first rep and those who feel the need to drop 25-30 pound dumbells, but the management at the gym are very respectful to all. The equipment is good the gym overall is a social club for people with no life taking up space to gab not sure if I would classify this as a "athletic club" qnot to mention disgustingly hot to the point in which it unsafe to even work out in the facility. The thermostat reads over 80 degrees every week how someone has not passed out from the heat and poor air quality is beyond me. Shocking as to how much they charge to belong to the facility they can't afford to have the air conditioning units serviced.
Norwell Athletic Club is the best club around! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like part of a family! I had a problem with billing when my credit card was compromised right around Christmas and they weren't able to process my monthly dues. The staff was more than accommodating in helping me fix this problem and even waived the late fee. I don't think you can find a better gym around this area when it comes to their high end facility and their terrific staff and customer service
