3 weeks ago I brought my Mom in ( she was sent by her doctor) to ER. Her doctor had called ahead as he thought she was having heart issues. They could not have been nicer. We were taken right in, all the staff was great. Loved the ER Doctor. She was great. We went to 5th floor they were awesome, checked on her often. I'm not from this area but have had two surgeries and one ER admittance while in Louisville one time which turned into a week stay here. I have nothing but great things to say about my experiences with Audubon and it's staff. I was made to feel as comfortable as possible and the nurses, aides, doctors.... All the way down to House keeping were friendly, courteous and humorous even when a smile was hard to come by. The food and it's staff were awesome, completely amazed by the quality of food! Sitting in the ER. I go up to the nurse station to tell the nurses my mother is saying she think her sugar is low. A nurse says ok and continues to talk to the other workers. A nurse just comes in a had no clue I had been up to the desk. Smh

The ER was a disaster for me. I was left waiting all night. Two different nurses gave me conflicting diagnosis. One said- I would be admitted immediately and transferred downtown or to suburban. Another nurse-who I had never seen that entire evening came in and discharged me. It's days later. I'm still in pain and sick. I went to the follow up doctors appointment they made for me with Norton Iroquois. It was another disaster. They left me in a room for over 1 1/2 hours. I want to thank yyoufor beinbeing s frirndly and courteous during my out patient surgery a lil over a week ago. Awesome Care!! Want to especially like to thank my surgeon Dr. Gregory Strouthman. Keep up the service ad care.

I have been sitting in the ER with my son. They ordered a test STAT.The tech that drew the blood said the results would be back in 15 minutes. It has been 5 hours and no one has reentered his room. This is horrible medical care. I have inquired twice and they say it shouldn't be much longer... What kind of hospital is this.

I was admitted to the hospital on 1-8-16 thru 1-11-16 the staff were rude and inattentive I had by-pass surgery on both legs, had a cather legs were bandage i was told by my dr. not to lay in bed need to get up when i did the bandages would come off and i was bleeding on the floor i called the nurse station i had to wait about 20 mins, every time i got up that would happened, i was told by a male nurse to get bed and stay never changed bandages had to !ay in blood all that nite until the Dr came in the next day. Awful night here on 5th floor heart unit. Woke us up at 2:30 in the morning to move us to another room. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Hope our heart doctors go to another hospital. If they do we won't be back here.
