I think an Emergency Room is a misnomer. You typically enter an Emergency Room and they immediately triage you. Then after analyzing your sickness, the folks who run the place put you back in the waiting room to wait for 3 1/2 hours before you see a doctor. Then after a round of tests and blood draws, the doctor or nurse working your case releases you and tells you to follow up with either your primary doctor or your specialist! My God!!! My daughter was in this place for 7 hours and all we got was "see your primary doctor?"
Great services there, nice people, been going there few years, always took care of me!
Got back quick but only because I was bleeding all over the floor. Loved my nurse in the ER but could never get a blanket, I ended up freezing while waiting to be released.
Had surgery here on 10/21 with preop and a procedure days before surgery. Never been to this hospital before but I'm so grateful this is the hospital my surgeons used. I spent some time in the ICU as well as a regular room and EVERYONE from registration to nurses to aids and even the students I encountered were amazing! The facility was clean, very organized and everyone seemed to treat eachother with such respect. Dr. Mckibben is the best. Dr. Stevens and Hadley are the best people in the world. Dr. Hertzig from UofK is wonderful and as kept me alive at the worst point in my life. I'm glad to be part of the Norton team.
My husband Robert Lancaster swears Audubon hospital have the best doctors and nurses he's been there since last Thursday thank you all tomorrow will make 8 days but he's doing much better all test are done just waiting for test results now and praying all is good amen.

Everyone I dealt with on the second floor outpatient surgery area, was excellent!! Very friendly, great bedside manors. I highly recommend this hospital.
