If I could give this hospital negative stars, I would. My elderly father was brought to the ER with serious breathing issues and waited more than six hours before being seen. He was sent home, only to be rushed back by ambulance the following day. After arriving by ambulance, he was placed in a wheelchair and sent back to the waiting room for another three hours. I will say that the workers are absolutely fantastic and they deserve the recognition that is deserved. They adapt, overcome and prosper through challenging times even when met with an adversary that will challenge a staff member or team. Thank you Nex for making my visit comfortable, very respectful and also very detailing as to why I was getting bloodwork done when I was confused as to what needed to be done and when the doctor ordered it. Dealing with the financial assistance and billing department has been an absolute nightmare. No one wants to help, they only want to pass the responsibility to someone else and have no desire to give a little extra effort to help me find answers. When asked multiple times to speak to a supervisor in the billing department, I am ignored. I was denied financial aid without a clear explanation on how to appeal. So much time wasted. I wish I could give negative stars.
