Both Drs. Harrington and Philips are great! I took my kitties here because they were the closest vet I could find with openings when I needed a cat to be seen ASAP, but I kept going (even though it's a little further from me than I prefer when having to transport anxious cats in the car) because the staff is amazing. They always answer my millions of questions and are upfront about costs and what is truly necessary or not. Requesting prescription refills of food or meds online has a very quick turnaround time, too.
Super friendly and great staff. My pets are happy going to and leaving from.
I love that they follow up multiple times with me about how my dog is doing after she has an issue. However, I just came by to pick up some food and I noticed that Dr. Myers’ name is no longer on the list of vets there—which explains why Dr. Harrington has been calling me to follow up instead of Dr. Myers. Wondering why she left and why her clients weren’t notified. I feel really sad. 😢
I’m very protective of my dogs. We moved to this area a year ago & I really researched vets in the area, and I’ve been very happy going here. All the staff are so very caring & helpful.
When I moved to Austin 6 years ago, I brought my first Akita to them because the location was on the way to the office. I no longer work near this location nor do I live near it, but I continue to bring my animals here because of the great people as well as honest & straightforward advice. Most importantly I find that they are trustworthy stewards of my animals & my pocketbook.
Where to start! They have recently emergency boarded my daughter's cats after she was displaced by a fire. They have cared for our menagerie of kittens through senior cats and puppies through senior dogs for many years. They have helped us mange feline diabetes and canine kidney stones. When the emergency hospital gave our 8 year old cat a poor prognosis they tried a round of steroids then did a bit of dental work, not knowing if he would survive intubation, and the two week prognosis has now been more than seven months. Too expensive for subpar care and overly arrogant insistence on their infallibility.
Dr. Phillips, the vets, and the techs are very nice and attentive. We had been taking our cats to Northwest Veterinary Hospital for the past 20 years.
Northwest Veterinary Hospital has a 4.9 star rating with 418 reviews.
Northwest Veterinary Hospital is closed now. It will open at 7:00 a.m.
