Took my new kittens in here last week and had a great experience! The front office is attentive and very nice. Dr. Shuler is one of the best vets I have been to. He took time to discuss a plan for my pets, making sure I was comfortable with the treatments he suggested. This is top notch veterinary care!
We are so grateful to have been referred here when we moved to Portland two years ago. The staff and Dr. Hook have been most professional and caring with our two canine kids - and especially appreciated at the most difficult time for us and our elder Golden.

Love this clinic and Dr. Prull! She has been great at helping us work through some skin issues our newly adopted dog has. Willing to try everything and develop a plan that works for both us and our pup. Always greeted with a smile, and treat, but the reception staff. Great place to take your animals!
The entire staff is lovely, and are great at following up after visits. Dr. Gowing is great at taking the time to explain possible health issues, recommended care and treatments, and is so patient and understanding, even with our older dog who has gotten pretty irritable in his old age when it comes to being examined. We very much appreciate everything Dr. Gowing and all the vet techs do to help us keep our babies healthy!
I love these guys and never go anywhere else. Great doctors, techs, and front office staff. They really love animals and will do everything they can to make sure your pet thrives. They give you the best thing you can have as a pet owner - peace of mind!

Amazing. Every doctor, tech, and receptionist that I have seen here has been very informative, helpful, competent, and caring. I feel 100% comfortable taking my pets to see any doctor at nw neighborhood vet. I cannot say enough great things about this place. I have never left feeling disappointed or uncertain. Thank you to the great staff at nw neighborhood vet for taking such great care of me and my fur-babies.
Dr. Prull is the best vet we've ever taken our dogs to. She listens, caught some issues of both of our labs that another vet has missed and has improved their quality of life. She always followed up with phone calls to see how the dogs were doing, especially after new medications. We also had to recently let one of our labs cross over the rainbow bridge, so to speak, and she came to the house and allowed us the time we needed with our pet to say goodbye, and she walked us through the process, making it somewhat easier (never... read more
