In 1997, Northside Hospital-Cherokee (in Canton) was created through an agreement between R.T. Jones Regional Hospital and Northside Hospital, Inc. On May 6, 2017, Northside Hospital-Cherokee moved to its brand new campus near I-575 at exit 19 (Ga. Hwy. 20), near the Canton Marketplace development. The campus includes a 118-bed hospital and medical office building with a Cancer Institute and a distinct Women's Center.

RecommendedIt was a pleasant experience except for the nurses who tortured me in the pre-op area..the could not get my anesthesia put in after 5 or more tries they had to call in an ultrasound tech to do it. They kept telling me it was my fault because I kept tensing up. According to may nurses I’ve spoken to since then.. this is not a truth.

Went to the er Wednesday 12-05-18 and 12-08-18 Found a kidney stone. Paid my copay and thought I was done til dr Sent bills for my insurance providers discount portion of what insurance paid. Was told he’s not in my network ridiculous. How do I know I’m in my hospital that is in network. I think this is very shady. Please I’m telling everyone to ask, call before you have a emergency 🚨 yes even in an emergency. Ask who’s the dr, nurse janitor pharmacy or Anesthesiologist radiologist then write them done and call your insuran... read more

Northside Hospital Cherokee is in network with Aetna. BUT Northside Emergency Associates will process as out of network, then bill you for the balance. This process should actually be illegal, and if Northside Hospital was decent they would put an end to their ER physicians doing this. I will NEVER EVER use Northside again, this is twice they have done this to us.
I can't say enough about how good everyone at Northside Cherokee has been to both Mama and me. Its hard being in the hospital but they have went above and beyond to make it more comfortable...from the doctor, nurses, techs, dietary, respiratory, surgery, housekeeping....I cannot say enough about them all! Mamas nurse yesterday even brought me a balloon!
Hands down best hospital experience!!! Every person I met (admin check in to nurses and dr) were all so nice. They sensed my fear and helped me By reassuring me and being there for me. Made me feel like I was a person and not just a number Thank you surgical team and all the ladies on Floor 6 for taking care of me. 5 stars for sure
We called and checked twice with our share plan agent on the phone (recorded) to make sure we would be be able to submit our bills to our share plan for the birth of our first child. After 7 months of being lied to, they decided they no longer would submit to the share plan and demanded $17,000 up front. I am 7 months pregnant, have high blood pressure, and had to scramble to find a new hospital and OB at the last minute.
