This place has quite a bit of neglect going on! Don't ever take your loved ones here if it's a life and death situation because you won't get the help you need especially if that person has medicaid. I will be filing yet another complaint about another doctor at this hospital that acted very unprofessional & thought he could undermine me with my child that was in their E.R. I am very disappointed in this hospital and wish I never stepped foot into it.
Worst medical experience ever. Emergency room staff completely dropped the ball. I spent eight hours in this place, with a group of people that can only be described as wildly incompetent. To cap it off, I was told by my attending physician, that she would never take a patients (mine) advice again. This is after she continued to give me medication I told her I was severely allergic to, causing me to vomit for hours. Now, because of workmans comp., I have to return to this facility for surgery. Had my husband in there twice today! I have to give a hats off to a nurse by the name of (Brett) he is one awesome guy!!! I highly recommend you keep this man on your team forever. Made us feel very welcomed and helped my husband so much. He was the only one who could find a vein on my dehydrated hubby.... Thank you Brett!
I had to go to N. Suburban's ED on 112th and Sheridan yesterday and today for really high bp with extreme headache. My primary Dr made me return today. The paramedics, nurses, and Dr's were FANTASTIC! I have chronic illnesses and end up in ED way too often and usually get treated like a drug and/or attention seeker. My bp being so high was good proof that I needed help. However, these medical professionals were just the best I've dealt with in an ED in a long time. Thank you!
My 15-year-old daughter had an appendectomy at North Suburban, after having been checked out at the Northwest ER on Sheridan. Both facilities were excellent. Every single person we had contact with was professional and caring. I can't say that having to go through an appendectomy is a "good experience" exactly, but North Suburban definitely made it easier.
