North Pole Veterinary Hospital was started by Dr. Karl Monetti in 1971 as a large and small animal practice. The hospital was operated out of his house until 1984. In 1984, Dr. Monetti built the present hospital facility on Hurst Road and it became strictly a small animal practice. RecommendedWe have used NPVH since 2003 when we moved here. I have never been disappointed with their service. Over the years it's has only gotten better with the availability of appointments, extended hours and quality of care. This past week I was there with a friend who had to make a heartbreaking decision to euthanize her beloved pet. Everyone was so compassionate and caring during a difficult time. The staff and Dr. Brown went above and beyond for their patient and customer.
The staff and vets are AMAZING! I've been taking my fur babies there for almost 20 years, Dr Brown is like family. I would highly recommend them. The office is extremely flexible with emergency visits to extended office hours and now they are open 7 days a week! They always try to accommodate!
Every Vet is caring and compassionate. The vet techs are the sweetest. Recently I had to put down my 16 yr old kitty and they made the process comfortable for everyone. They even gave us a paw print from our pet. I highly recommend this clinic!
I’m very picky about what Vet office I go to and instantly I knew I made the right choice. Very friendly staff and they called everyday to make sure my Aurora girl was doing better. Will only be coming to this vet!
I see a lot of people love this place. I wish I could have had the same experience. I went in to get a refill on my dog’s thyroid medicine. They said I need to have an office visit and check up for me dog first. I told them that I only have enough for the meds right now. I have been out of a job for awhile. They still said no. My dog is 10 and he has had the thyroid issue for years.

Dr. Link and the techs have been great with my (finally less crazy) dog. Receptionists are super friendly too. 👍👍
