North Pole Veterinary Hospital was started by Dr. Karl Monetti in 1971 as a large and small animal practice. The hospital was operated out of his house until 1984. In 1984, Dr. Monetti built the present hospital facility on Hurst Road and it became strictly a small animal practice. I have 3 dogs, 2 of whom go to NPVH. Today, my puppy Stevie was bloated, lethargic, and vomiting. This was extremely alarming to me because I always supervise her and could not imagine what she could have gotten in to. The staff at NPVH were amazing. They were fully booked but let me drop her off for a doctor to do an exam between appointments. They were incredibly kind and patient. North Pole Vet Hospital continues to outdo themselves! They know my pet's names, they know my name, and they got us in for an "emergency" (ended up being nothing) on a busy Saturday and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Great front desk people, great techs, great doctors, great veterinary healthcare.
They had excellent service and they were wonderful with my dog thank you so much for getting us in
My Dog, Jake was the dog who was shot in the face in January of this year. After excellent first care at the VET ER in Fairbanks, North Pole Veterinary Hospital took over his care. They also took care of Titan's body who died in the senseless attack on our dogs. I cannot say enough about the love and dedication this clinic and all its staff members showed us. Jake still has a few little problems with a heat spot on his check but over all he has made a fantastic recovery thanks to all at NPVH
I cannot say enough about this clinic. Our cat had sudden blindness that progressed into her passing away. The staff and Dr. Lovely we're there with us every step of the way. We had our Zoey cremated and when we went to pick her up they included her paw print with her name carved into the clay, it's good to know that the staff cares about our pets just as much as we do �� thank you to all the staff for making our heart wrenching situation a little better!
We have had a hard 2 years with losing 3 of our fur babies and most knew them well. The love that they show us at such a hard time is unbelievable. They have shed tears along with us which means they have a heart and know how much it hurts. You all mean so much to us. ��
