We've always had good experiences flying into and out of SJC. On our most recent trip, though, we didn't feel the TSA Pre sign are posted clearly and we ended up in the longer line. That said, we were immediately directed to it when reaching the check-in point. We like the way the airport is laid out, the walk-way is wide and roomy, the restaurants/kiosks are fairly plentiful, restrooms are well placed.

I got there at 6:00 for a 7:15 flight, had checked in at home and printed my boarding pass and bag tags, so I breezed in, dropped the bag, went through TSA and was at the gate by 6:20.

Could be better set up for Pre-check. I did my part and paid for the convenience, yet had to endure the long regular line. Love the rental car location for Terminal B access, right across street. Never thought i'd admit it but SeaTac's got you beat.

Rude and Bad Skycap service at Southwest Airlines. All they want is your tips but you're the one doing all the lifting. Hope this will help future travelers to decide.

Quite small and quiet when I went through. There is a shuttle bus between the two terminals (and the car rental) but seems like a smaller alternative to San Francisco airport (which was very busy when I passed through)
