I’m sure the Aquatics Director, Skyler would never admit it, but she is a true HERO in every sense of the word! Things may not always go perfectly right as we want them to, but it does not change the quick action and preparedness this lady displays. God knew what He was doing when he called her to be a HERO! I’ve been a member at the YMCA for many years now and I am honestly not sure I will be anymore after the COVID-19 stuff. My membership is paid a year at a time so I have basically paid for a “service” that I have NO idea how long I won’t be able to use! They’ve let members cancel and rejoin but what about those of us that have ALREADY paid for the entire year! Nothing being done no communication and it’s honestly just not fair, and it is NOT good business!
They are so unprofessional when they were open and now they have shown their greed for money has overcome their customers. you dont provide a service but expect to get paid. I dont show up for work I dont get paid.
They have been horrible during the covid-19 pandemic. No responses from staff, no automatic membership freezes, no refunds for being closed, and they still want their members to continue to pay their bills. Their mass email said they would reopen the 25th and then got another mass email saying they will be closed for an indefinite amount of time, but that members could cancel their memberships via a form on their websites.
