I've been seeing Dr. Rice since high school; I wouldn't consider anyone else even looking at my teeth. Dr. Rice is instantly comforting, calming, professional, appropriately personal and friendly, incredibly skilled and knowledgable of the most recent trends, studies and treatment modalities. The last time I was there I started falling asleep while he drilled a filling... that's the confidence and trust Dr. Rice instills in his patients. Thanks for everything Dr. Rice!!!

Aftet neglecting my teeth for a debilitating fear of dentists, i found Dr. Rice thanks to him i am no longer afraid and look foward to the rest of my appointments. I highly recomend him.!!

I recently moved to the Philadelphia area and broke a tooth. I have insurance, but their website isn't terribly descriptive about dentists and their practices, so I found the first one close to my work and hoped for the best. Dr. Rice is the first dentist I've ever been to that I would actually recommend to my friends and family - I had a root canal and crown, both done fast, well, and painlessly. I too am a scardey cat when it comes to the dentist. I had not seen one for years because of it. Dr Rice let me bring my walkman so I didn't have to hear the sound of the instruments. He has worked with me every step of the way. He made me so comfortable, I bring my own kids to him.

My first visit to Dr. Rice's office was great. I only had to sign a few forms when I arrived and the doctor promptly saw me. He answered all my questions and cleaned my teeth personally, taking care to avoid my sensitive teeth. I highly recommend this doctor and look forward to coming back.

Dr Rice is by far the best dentist in the philadelphia area. I went to his office after several dentists ive been to and was not satified. he was very down to earth and ive never had a dental needle or dental work done that wasnt painfull. This was all painless and anxiety free. i will be a patient for years to come.

I first went to Steve Rice after not having seen a dentist for years - horrible experiences in the past. My husband had been a patient for a while and made me go. BTW - my husband is also a "bad patient" - he actually bit Steve on one early visit because of anxiety. Dr Rice handled that situation wonderfully. He put me right at ease and is absolutely great. I am a new patient of Dr. Rice's who came to him following some very traumatic oral surgery. I was immediately impressed by Dr. Rice's good nature and relaxed ways. I had brought my records with me from my surgery and Dr. Rice was thorough in his review of my problems.
