Oh my! Im a new vegan and googled some places to eat and TheNile was one of the top 3 that popped up. All the reviews were excellent and once i mentioned it was soul food to my husband he was in! So everything we had was delicious! Everyone was sooo friendly and nice! My husband had the "bbq chicken" (my favorite) with collard greens and okra corn and tomatoes. i had the "pepper steak" with brown rice and sauteed cabbage. We also had some dessert! Once you have eaten here, you will never go back to eating meat. This is the BEST vegan soul food restaurant in philly.
Love the food. The special brunch that they offer occasionally is amazing! I love the French Toast Praline...out of this world!
