Xellent Night Out – I had no idea San Francisco has places like this. Nihon seems to rival the best of what New York has to offer. Their dinner area was busy on saturday so we settled for a table down staires which I guess was for those first come first serve. The whisky selction is dizying from how big it is, I tried a Japanese whsiky which was smooth and nice. Whisky & Japanese Works ! – I never thought that having a whisky & eating some fish could go together, but i guess I was proven wrong. We went there this past tuesday and the place "I guess" being open just one week was not busy. we were there with 3 more tables only. we had few recomendations of food.. the roles & sachimi I must admit were the b est I have tried in the city... don't go for the food – When I spend 65 on a dinner and still have to go to Safeway for cheetos and ice cream to fill me up, I say the portions are too small. Nice ambience, curteous and prompt service, and beautiful presentation. The portions however are tiny, the prices expensive and the what little food there was wasn't even that great. Waoo – It has to be the hottest resturant bar in the city. The design is wild. They have been open only for one week & I have been there twice, for drinks & second time for food. Thumbs up to these guys " they know what they are doing" Not to mention the whisky selction and your ability to get a bottle stored there for your next visit, the food has to be one of the top in this city.
