Thank you to everyone at the dealership who helped me in purchasing my new Kia Niro. I am in love with the vehicle. Thank you especially to Dale. He had answers for all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the cars on the lot and all their features. Everyone in the dealership was very friendly and respectful of our time. Chris in finance made sure everything was covered and explained in detail. I definitely 100% would recommend Nielsen Kia to anyone looking for a new car.
Please people hear my warning!!! Do not got to Kia dealer in Michigan City!!!! I went to Jiffy Lube and had my air conditioner charged and diagnosed, I was still having problems so I went to the Kia dealer in Michigan City they also diagnose the same problem as Jiffy Lube did. Kia order the part car is still under warranty and the part came in. I made an appointment to bring my car and they had the car for 8 hours! Your last visit with us was a year ago , you speak as if this just took place , also you have failed to include that the original complaint was an intermittent problem one that we were not able to duplicate at the time of your repair , our technicians simply stated that the possible cause could be the engine fan motor so it was ordered as a "just in case needed part" when you dropped the vehicle ...(a year ago) we were not successful in duplicating your concern at that time , it was explained to you that we would require fur... read more
I love my 2013 Kia Optima for a winter car. The dark cherry color caught my eye. Only problems with sales was they didn't give me much off the advertised price and the salesman wouldn't show me the car fax. The Optima had been in a front end accident. I asked if the airbags had gone off & he said I don't think so. Original tires weren't good in snow & ice. Bought better tires.
Let me just say that the men who sold me my car two years ago, were great! Up until this past Friday, I've had no major issues. Unfortunately, the man "who helped me" wasn't exactly an exemplary representation of Nielsen, and literally walked away from me when I refused to buy a 160 dollar tire. He told me that my slow leaking tire couldn't be repaired. I knew better. I did get the tire fixed elsewhere at no charge :) Sell when it's necessary. Found a truck at pine ford and nielsen helped with financing it. The sales team is amazing and go through hoops to get you what you want. The service side is also very knowledgeable and accurate with their work. Oh did I mention I drove from South bend, IN to go to this dealership.
