It's a place you can go back often, honest food, executed well. The heart of romaine was dressed slightly too heavily, but the dressing was well balanced. The ribeye was grilled perfectly. The pork belly in the cauliflower garnish was bit over the board, should not have another meat in the dish to compete with the steak. However, the steak was perfect.
First time there and loved it! Great food, wine and people. Jason was fantastic! We will be back soon.

There is good and then there is great; Nick's is great!! My wife and I have been doing date night there for three years and every time is just as good as the last. The staff is awesome, the food is great and the location is perfect. It really is the "go to" spot in Los Gatos.
The Abalone was fantastic. Everything else Is mediocre. Steak could have been good but I ordered it medium rare and it came out with just a touch of pink in the very center. It was medium well at best. Terrible way to cook a ribeye.
Wonderful environment, great service and the food was amazing. Our 43rd wedding anniversary dinner was great!���
