The food is great, the owner is really cool, and vibe is very friendly.
My wife and I are still talking about our 4 year anniversary experience. Nick's was perfect and pretty affordable. I have had way worse food for more money. The ambiance was fantastic: a small retaurant with great food, great service, and just overall comfortable family vibe. My wife had the rib eye and I had the meatloaf and both were very excellent, but let me tell you the plate of the night belonged to the bolognese. Wow. Outstanding.
